This rewatch revealed queer subtext which I can't believe I hadn't picked up on previously. The whole "gal-pal" chemistry between the leads is one thing (though that alone merits discussion) but the fact that the house eats "unmarried women" struck me in a new way this time…

This movie had some amazing scenery shots, that cartoonish whimsy feel. Very fun colors, effects, and editing. I enjoyed the horror/gore aspect even that was funny at times. The group dynamic was fun. I don’t think I’ve watched anything like it before. Rewatch?Probably not 7/10😺

This movie was insane. But the level of satire in this is unmatched. From the names, to the editing, to the music, the fight scenes, etc etc it’s like a bad trip but in the best way. I literally screamed of laughter at certain points. Trust me, you won’t get bored watching this.
