Atom User Reviews for Hotel Mumbai
One of the greatest movie of 2019 so far!
I found this film to be chilling reminder of what real terror, hospitality, perseverance, and heroism is. Overall, a very good film with a powerful message.
A gripping true story that isn't afraid to show consequences of heroic actions in a dire situation.
Well made movie with great skilled artists. At the end I walked out being upset and mad. Touches your core, being an Indian and a fellow human, its very heartbreaking. Hope all terror groups burn in hell and also in their so called paradise. Movie went little numb at times but overall its a good one.
This movie is very intense, violent, but tells a good story and found myself not wanting to look away from the screen!!!
Sad but true story relived in details for horrifying terror attacks in Mumbai
best movie I've seen so far this year
Hotel Mumbai is a heart pounding, based on true events, film. The opening warms you up to the families of the main characters and leads off quickly to action packed, heart pounding, intense scenes. The director puts you in the movie and you feel as if you are a hotel guest mixed in the terror.
This movie brings us into what was a terrifying attack on innocent civilians. The acting is superb with the star, Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire,) leading us on a ride through hell for what it must have been like in that hotel. My stomach was churning seeing such graphic scenes. It reminded me of Schindler’s List and other Holocaust movies that don’t hold back on the gore to show you true evil and brainwashing in action. This movie is not for the faint of heart!
this movie will touch your 💜❤
Love this movie! I was in tears but there were some very eye opening moments.
A wonderful movie!
One of the best action film of 2019 so far!
Great movie!! Intense and action-packed. It stays with you long after the movie is over. The kind of movie you’d recommend to a friend and their friends. It’s terrifying but necessary and this sort of thing does happen in the world.
Best movie I’ve seen in a while!
it was very raw and brutal recreation of what happened
Terror and Cheos was downplayed.
film showed so many real facts which happened during attack
This movie was the best I have ever saw
Best movie ever
This is really good.
Heart pounding except a little slow in the middle. About 30 minutes too long. But worth seeing.
excellent acting and special effects.
As the long-awaited sequel to Hotel Rwanda, I expected to see more Don Cheadle.
A very compelling story well told. Nonstop tension.
Edge of the seat,must watch👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
As a thriller it’s efficient, if formulaic, and technically proficient, if undistinguished.
Writer/director Anthony Maras largely sticks to the dramatisation playbook, but does so in an effective, affecting and empathetic fashion.
The film is both gripping in its execution — although a two-hours-plus running time feels a bit stretched — and totally bland in what it’s trying to say, with characters who don’t really stand out onscreen.
