Messy af. First act is REALLY solid and then the rest is a landslide of sludgy, preachy storytelling. Hits you over the head with “violence bad actually” in between some of the coolest set pieces you’ll see all year. Also, no one tells you at all but it’s just PART ONE. Abrupt.
The Night King likedHopeSung ki is the goat 🐐 Overall this was a solid horror sci-fi film, the pacing of film was a bit slow to start but quickly picked up. This was beautfully filmed and characters were easy to root for. Wish they elaborated more towards the end, but leaves room for a sequel 4.2/5🔥
Dark Sun dislikedHopeSuffers the longer you watch it due to bloated runtime. This really should’ve been an hour and a half. The CGI is sometimes passable, but often terrible. The characters are incredibly stale and just go from place to place, not really changing much at all.
