Cried, but left the teather full of hope.
When I sat down to watch this movie, I expected fast-paced action and intense drama based on the trailer and early buzz. What I got instead was a heartfelt and meaningful story that focused on family, redemption, and faith in Jesus. It was a pleasant surprise and a deeply enriching experience. I would highly recommend to all!
Great start to the movie just the ending was rushed and had too many questions at the end that were unanswered
Unrealistic and all over the place plot!!
We enjoyed this movie so much and felt it was a view of what could easily happen in the world today.
Story not written tight enough too many gaps.
Felt like a scam. Bait to watch and pay for the rest of the series at home.
I still don’t understand why the total US had a major melt down with one major bomb on the coast . The end message of the movie is nice.
Slow but good, with an excellent message
Absolutely loved it, ready to watch the full series!! - “Perfect love cast out fear” 1 John 4:18
stupid story, will waste your money for next sequel movie
Why are we not informed that this movie is episode 1 of a tv series? Waste of money
Pretty solid movie. the third act could of done without getting too preachy in my opinion. Otherwise, this was very well paced and well acted.
It felt like God entered the story a bit later, but they brought His authority in at the critical moment.
Not a fan
Horrible movie
This is a religious tv show, not an actual movie
Weird and boring
Good movie waiting for other episodes
It was okay. It is left on a cliffhanger and the rest is paywalled on a subscription service
Movie was good but only three stars because it was more like a series show and did not have an ending at the end. They gave you an option to buy a ticket and pay it forward and pay an extra $15 to go home and watch the rest on TV.
Good Movie! Thank you for the opportunity
Good movie, but not excellent. Starts really well, great set up. Unfortunately veers hard into the “faith” message. And while I understand that’s the MO from Angel Studios, I want to be entertained, not converted to any religious or political ideology. IMO they dropped the ball on an otherwise great movie
Love this movie
great movie totally going to watch series
Great movie for family. Love it
Could have shown more nature to complement the concept of life begins
Great movie ! Definitely love the spiritual message it brings about having faith.
I enjoyed every minute of this movie.
Very good movie. Humanity elements and faith based.
Must see!
Great movie, wish it was a little bit more to the plot. This could be a what if this really happened to us in the USA. It gives you something to think about
Dumb ending, didn't realize it was series.
excellent Experience
Would have been a better TV movie than a big screen movie
Awesome recommend movie.
I wish that I could watch the rest of the show without having to pay at least $15
Stay after the movie has finished so you can see and give blessings to other
The end is super boring. I was about to leave before the very end of the movie.
I really loved this movie & want to see the rest
Waste of time and money
#strongertogether ✨
I enjoyed it gave a lot of life lessons and how we should apply them at least in my eyes
I enjoyed following the characters as they navigated a horrifying scenario
Great Great Movie
Not very good at all.
I was so sad to realize it was a show, it was great!
The ending was not good with the QR code
This should’ve been on Netflix not theaters
Not impressed. Almost fall asleep
Metacritic
It’s hard not to feel a bit scammed, like you just bought a brand-new AAA game and found out most of its content is still locked behind an additional paywall.

The lead characters are well-cast across the board, with Chase and McDonough especially effective as complex, unpredictable characters whose sporadic conflicts go a long way toward developing a rooting interest in both men.

The acting isn’t awful and the production values are passable. McDonough makes a much better villain than anybody shoved into that sort of role here. This is an origin story that lacks anything in the way of a “hook” to whet the viewer ‘s appetite for a series. Even the “Christianity” angle is soft-peddled.
