Didn’t get it at first, but after thinking about it, this movie is genius!!
Movie is absolutely fantastic. I have seen low reviews but I think it's because the movie hits topics that people aren't ready to see criticized. Cinematic Masterpiece. I love a movie that's trying to say something.
This movie is full of subtext and the only people that won't enjoy it are people that can't think on a deeper level. Amazing
no words can describe this movie, but the amount of times i was wincing and saying "what the heck??" enamored me more. #proudjordanpeelefan
It was a story that went kind of nowhere.
Had good concept but executed poorly
Visuals were good and acting was good, but overall a disappointing movie. Story started well but then torpedoed into a hole and leaves you wondering why it ended like that. Nothing original or creative.
meh ending WEAK ASF
I liked Julia Fox and the sets designs... I feel like ithe plot could've been better but it's just my opinion, regardless, I hope the movie does well :)
Lost me at the end
It became confusing as to what the plot really was about, there was good parts to the movie but I wouldn’t say it was fantastic.
Good visuals and lots of symbolism but characters are meh.
The premise is your idols become your rivals and to become HIM, you have to defeat your idols.
Weird but I liked the end moral at least.
Disturbing
The cinematography was incredible. Thought provoking concepts that can be considered in everyday life. What would you do to be the GOAT in whatever and is it worth the price and who you have to pay? Football style.
I wouldn’t want to see this ever again
It was a good movie except the ending left you wondering what the outcome would be.
Great movie about the truth in this world and what black people go through.
Bro!!!! This movie!!!
I liked the ending of the movie however, it was just a hard storyline for me to put together. & it felt a little long even though it was an 1hr &30 min film.
Such a bad movie
Metacritic
Just shotgun a double feature of Any Given Sunday and The Devil's Advocate and you'll get the same elements told better.
The film leaves you wishing that the aspirational way the sport is presented in real life had been read for filth.
If the issue of some thrillers is that they have nothing to say, the problem with “Him” is that it has exactly one thing to say, which it does again and again and again. “Him” does have some style, though.
