Synopsis
David Harbour (Stranger Things) wears the red body paint and horns to play an all-new version of Hellboy, the demon who helps mankind battle supernatural threats. Director Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game of Thrones) takes the reins of this reboot, which is based on the original Hellboy graphic novels by character creator Mike Mignola.
Hellboy, whose demonic nature never quite sits well with his upbringing amongst humans, leads his team of paranormal investigators in battle against an ancient sorceress with revenge on her mind. Milla Jovovich, who has so often battled monsters in the Resident Evil movies, gets to be the villain this time out.

If Van Helsing (2004) - with Deadpool as the main character - sounds like something you’d find “really cool”, then check this one out :D

9 This movie thinks it's all metal and Edgy but it honestly plays like a television program off of The CW that's going through puberty. Whatever curiosity you have of watching this, squash it.
SilentDawnApr 11, 2019sasha lane didn’t deserve this
David SimsApr 15, 2019Desperate and ugly. Can't even muster a fraction of the visual imagination of the otherwise-also-disappointing del Toro ones. I mean at least those don't look and sound completely like garbage.

I barely can remember what was happening in this film, it's very forgettable. It seemed like this film didn't know what it wanted to be. If it was trying to be comedy, it failed. If it was trying to be thrilling, it failed. Tone of this film was all over the place. In the…

10/10 I’m a big hellboy fan and this exceeds the expectations for it I thought that the movie would be bad since remakes usually suck but it was actually really good. I love the action Love David Harbour but he did not beat Ron Pearlman in this remake
Hellboy (2019) - 4.4/10 ⭐️ Ugh, what a disappointment! This reboot, starring David Harbour, fails to capture the magic of the original films. The story is convoluted, and the pacing is slow. Harbour's Hellboy lacks the charm and charisma that Perlman brought to the role. Overall, a lackluster…

I get why it’s disliked but I thought it was kinda Meh. Still a decent watch. I felt it had potential, but it got buried under sloppy direction and tone issues. David Harbour tries his best, but the film can’t decide if it’s edgy or campy. Some cool ideas, poor execution.
Horrific. I don’t know what they were thinking here. The plot is jumbled up and the script is terrible. The actions terrible and the movie is soulless. Harbour could be a good Hellboy but he has no chance with this garbage. Rubbish on every level

The actors did a great job but the storyline and plot were not all that great. The original Hellboy is iconic, (I grew up watching it) but this remake did no justice to the original ones. It was way too unnecessarily gore and graphic. 4/10
Don’t get me wrong. It’s a great movie, but without Ron Perlman it’s not the same. I would have preferred a continuation to the old movies and not this. But it’s still great with all the brutal action and the new look for hell boy. 6.3/10

Two hours of my life that I won't get back on some director who doesn't even know the story and decides to make this sad excuse of a movie.
CBCorey Bettsdefinitely going back again! can't recommend this enough
TRTimmy Rossmovie was actually great when it came down to visuals and being a remake. Had a decent story and they added a good bit of blood gore scenes lol

His face is not good. The make up is bad. The old hellboy is a lot better.
RERosita ElizondoI'm easy to make happy when it comes to movies... They're entertainment and they served their purpose if I watched all of it. In other words, I don't take them too seriously. However, this movie was disappointing in every aspect. It didn't make sense, they changed the…
