They did go to hell. But, to be honest, I'd rather see Pinhead and the Cenobites get more screen time. They are the real reason why this franchise has grown in popularity. Despite its arguably more ambitious plot and accompanying aesthetics, it's simply a more…

Justin DeclouxSep 23, 2026By far the most Italian entry of the Hellraiser franchise, which is another way of saying that it's the best one. If all of the actors had unconvincing dubs you'd see. You'd all see.

i think i liked this one better than the first. we got to see more of the cenobites’ dimension (?) which was cool. Pinhead: “We have all eternity to know your flesh.” 😳 that lowkey made me attracted to him maybe he can tear me apart idk
Ryan Tower likedHellbound: Hellraiser IIBigger, Better, thought provoking The crown jewel of the franchise. Makes me want to explore the universe they’ve created in videogames or tv. Very hokey, somewhat dated practical effects but powerful. A more nuanced take on horror about emotions and sins than a slasher. LEATHER!
Saint likedHellbound: Hellraiser III couldn’t take this seriously after the doctor turned into a cenobite, he just floated around yelling doctor phrases at them and then he just, self imploded, I don’t understand 😕 & the mc reminds me sm of my mom from her old pictures, so she carried by default bc i luv my mom <3
- Matthew Lillards No.1 Fan likedHellbound: Hellraiser II
Hellbound spends most of its time exploring the excellently crafted world of the Cenobites, but in doing so, fails to give proper attention to the story. It is visually striking and well scored, but it does fall short when compared to the original in terms of character and story.
Jojo likedHellbound: Hellraiser II“We have eternity to know your flesh” 💙 The practical effects were so cool and so well done. The human body ones are so detailed. I like the maze like structure of he’ll and the set designs, I love the creativity of the torture in hell. Liked it better than the first one 8/10
Dyl lovedHellbound: Hellraiser IIIf you’re looking for an incredibly funny time and a plot that nobody would actually do like a Friday the 13th then my friend you’ve come to the wrong place. A Great sequel as its tone and makeup make it an amazing watch. It’s worth the go just don’t expect funny. 8.6/10

Think I liked it more than the first. Lots of looks at hell. Pretty gory for the time. Effects pretty good especially for the time. Heard it starts to go downhill from here lol.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II is like some kind of avant-garde film strip in which there is no beginning, no middle, no end, but simply a series of gruesome images that can be watched in any order.
