Best small movie I've seen in years
starts slow but picks up. good afternoon movie.
longest movie ever.total bore. can i have my money back
Welcomed reprieve in an era of superhero fatigue.
Best modern day western I've seen since No Country For Old Men.
Filmed in my home town knew where a lot of those places were
Compared to all other movies in theaters right now hell or high water stands out the most. Clever dialogue, characters that are hashed out to there fullest. This movie is a must see to anyone that loves good cinema. I've been to the movies ALOT this year and this is the only one I have actually sat down and wrote a comment about. Please watch this instead of the normal Hollywood blockbuster movie which is always the same.
amazing
this movie was very good and it had a good story line .
Awesome!!!!!!! Never a dull moment. There was always something keeping you engaged
2nd favorite film of the year, definite Oscar nod for Jeff Bridges!
An amazing movie. Chris Pine was awesome in it
Good lesson on how to build a relationship between characters. A must see if its playing in your area.
A different and more purposeful No Country for Old Men
best movie of the year. jeff bridges was hilarious. chris pine proved again he can act.
Best movie I have seen in a minute
good movie, I liked a lot of the cinematography.
a real good movie, very action packed
not good at all
authentic Texas feel, to a crime movie genre. great acting through and through.
This movie was such a drag. I was definitely disappointed by this one. The trailer made it seem as if this movie was a "Robin Hood" type ordeal. It definitely was not. I would consider this movie a dated but modern western. Don't waste your money. Rent it on Redbox
Metacritic
A film with a fistful of memorable moments—most of them involving Bridges hurling insults at people—but not a great deal new to say.
Hell or High Water is that rare offering that both feels old-fashioned in its action-thriller gratification and in-the-moment about everything else.
The surprise standout is Chris Pine. Maybe because he possesses unfairly good looks and outrageous charisma, Pine hasn’t received much recognition as an actor. He is outstanding in Hell or High Water.
