Synopsis
From Academy Award® nominated director Jan Komasa, HEEL is a twisted thriller that follows 19-year-old hooligan Tommy (Anson Boon), who revels in a life of drugs, parties, and violence. One night, on a bender with his reckless friends, he becomes separated from the group and is abducted by an unknown figure (Golden Globe® winner Stephen Graham). Though he is no stranger to inflicting violence, he is enraged and horrified when he wakes to find himself chained in the basement of the isolated suburban family home of Chris (Graham), his wife Kathryn (Academy Award® nominee Andrea Riseborough), and their young son Jonathan (Kit Rakusen). The family sets out to reform Tommy's unruly behavior, forcing him to comply with their relentless mind games or seek escape at any cost.

Y’all are unprepared for the sheer number of production logos at the beginning of this film.

The Good Boy, or Heel, was a greatt time and the ending hit just right. Definitely recommend it!!
My kind of movie🤩 love the deep psychological side like father issues and no emotional connection to mother. I wasn’t ever really bored which haven’t happend for a long time

7/10 Interesting concepts “for all those social media bullies who zone in on vulnerable people’s suffering for pure entertainment value - beware”. Good story, well casted. The story focuses in on the sad side of social media. Worth a watch.
Good psych thriller. Well shot, well acted, first act and last act was good. Middle might’ve dragged. No idea what the point of the maid was. Stockholm syndrome mixed with moral behavioral therapy mixed with trauma therapy. Good twist.
Not a great start when the whole audience is laughing at there being, quite genuinely, 20 or so production company logos… Things soon picked up though, an excellent opening section that is limited on exposition. More just lets you gather what you need to know on your own accord, which goes for…

I appreciate the indie film feel and the unique concept. The dog was so good. Personally, I am picking for movies with dogs. This one, I just felt bad for the dog the entire time which made me sad, and there wasn’t explanation on what the supernatural aspect was.
