bad pacing. almost fell asleep twice. lead actor was the best part his acting was great.
What a waste of a cast. Quite literally no redeeming qualities. Not fun, funny, scary. 2 stars since it got me out of the house, which I wish it hadn't.
It was a good movie no boring scenes almost thought someone was going to die, but they're still alive( watch the movie to find out who)other than that it was funny with some of the scenes Mr. Leto was very sinister as the hatbox ghost and all and all was a decent movie.
It was a great way to touch on grief in adults and children, and the comedic timing was surprisingly good!!!

I really liked it. I thought the cast was fabulous. Stanfield was great, and the story was touching. It wasn’t very scary, but neither is the actual ride.
A very well done adaptation of the beloved ride. The cast was perfect and surprising, the set and graphics were superb and the comedy was great. Maybe Disney could make more movies based on attractions as long as the story sticks. Perfect Halloween movie
If you’re a fan of the ride and Disneyland, watch this movie!

I have heard about that movie from the news today, so me and my mom went to see at the Blvd in Lancaster, CA and the movie was very good and funny!
Slow . Spent too much time on the main character . The effects and set were amazing . Wish they would have done more with Jamie Lee Curtis’s character.

Story line isn’t compelling
This movie shouldn’t have been made. The Eddie Murphy version was 10x better. The puns were lame and the story moved so slow.

the movie was a good story it had a good pace in the story and it kept me entertained for the whole 2 hours. I loved the visual effects from the ghost and it use of simple theatrical effects like in old black and white horror films did

Great remake.
A fun play off of the theme park ride. Enjoyable and original. Surprisingly, not woke. Interesting that the theater was only 20% full, for the opening weekend. We saw The Sound of Freedom (excellent) earlier in the week, and the theater was packed. Makes me wonder if…

Spent the whole movie half laughing and half screaming. Equal balance of humor and scares. All around great family film.
Far better than Eddie Murphy's attempt, but despite a solid cast, it's just ok. biggest problem is Owen Wilson. He tries really hard to be the funny sidekick, and he's just not that guy.

Haunted Mansion is by no means a terrible movie, or even an unpleasant watch, but it’s just missing the magic that makes the trip to the theaters (or Disney World) worth it.

Resembling a kids’-birthday-party remake of 1973's The Legend Of Hell House, this suffers from being not that funny or spooky. Its saving grace is a cast you’re happy to spend time with.
