I know this movie is bad but idc
Vinny SimmsApr 3, 2023The least surprising bit of movie trivia is that they smoked real weed in the making of this.
HaiducFeb 22, 2018Saw it in the theater, and it was a good crowd, so that has to count for something. I don't smoke weed, so I don't know how this got on my watchlist. But yeah, LOTS of cameos. Vegan alerts: -A horse dies after a guy feeds it junk food. -A dog dies. -People try to get…

As a major stoner I feel like I'm obligated to love this, but in reality I just mostly enjoy it. I'd be lying though if I said this was a good movie.
Dave GJul 5, 2024Kenny's butthole was in constant jeopardy.

There is only 1 reason to watch this movie, and you already know what it is. That being said, it’s the perfect length. I believe it comes in at about 1:30 which is about my attention span when… well ya know.
Stoner movie!! Must watch while high! Or don’t, idc, it just highly recommended

so sad what’s become of dave nowadays, but this will always be a classic to me
everything involved in the making of this was done while high (i’m guessing)

I kind of liked this slow, stoner comedy.
The humor in this movie is basically anthropological notes on doper culture and behavior: junk-food frenzies, smoking rituals and hardware, non sequitur conversation, and short-term memory loss. In other words, stuff that passed into the realm of clich#233; back in the time of the Johnson administration.
The title refers to your expected condition when you see this movie. Oh well. It'll be HUGE on video.
