Guillermo Del Toro's obsession with the child's perspective is often the death blow of many films that have been produced with his name attached to it. He should stop producing them and he should start making them again because he has proven time and again that he is a…

97 Fantasy shaken by bullet fire and the agony of tired souls cut short, Pan's Labyrinth is a genuine marvel of storytelling, craftsmanship, design, and pure theatricality within cinematic boundaries. Skillfully told and heartrending in its mixture of warfare anxiety…

A strange movie that linked the world of fantasy to politics, suitable music, a mixture of dreams and reality. 7,8/10

despite all the great reviews, i was a little disappointed. the storyline didn’t really stick and felt like the pacing was off. wish we could’ve had a closer look at the overall characters and more scenes of the labyrinth and the games. the cinematography however was beautiful

Felt like a real life ghibli movie with the ongoing war and escape from reality for a young girl. Absolutely loved the fantasy scenes and I wish they were a larger part of the movie rather than the war plot. Delicious looking grape.

What an incredible movie. I did go into this thinking it was a kids movie but once I started watching it I realized it definitely was not. This is a sad movie that will make you want to cry. 8/10

I wish this film could have a happier ending. Filled with magical opportunities and wonder for its characters endings. The imaginative creativity that Guillermo del Toro has to be able to combine such a heartbreaking destructive story with such Magically delightful Visuals is something I applaud…

I watched in Spanish, English captions. It was super good!! It was not horror in the way that I expected, but the setup, conflict, and plot all paid off in a way that was pretty horrific(/pos)!! Also super convincing acting. And Guillermo still dropping bangers to this day, ate!!

Pan's Labyrinth artfully fuses a war film with a family melodrama and a fairy tale. The result is visually stunning and emotionally shattering.
