We want to be civilized. I mean, you take a look at this fellow here. *produces revolver out of nowhere*
David SimsJun 26, 2015Evidently actually made by Gremlins.
matt lynchJul 27, 2014Take American Psycho, a Looney-Tunes cartoon, and Joe Dante's mind; mix it all up, and you get this movie. Is it a bizarre commentary on 1980s consumerism? Is it an exploration on the downward trend of sequels in the cinema? Is it a slice of surrealism that was only…

The Babe Pig in the City of the Gremlins Cinematic Universe. Except better somehow
James (Schaffrillas)Feb 2, 2023I would bump this up an extra half-star if we'd gotten to see the entire Busby Berkeley-style musical number with Gremlins that the movie cuts away from way too soon
Patrick WillemsOct 25, 2014The movie ran into some weird technical problems about halfway through, but luckily Hulk Hogan was there to fix it.

A busy but boring sequel that spends most of its energy piling topical parody on top of product plug on top of gooey horror special effect.

Obihulk lovedGremlins 2: The New BatchHonestly, there aren’t many times that a sequels will be as goofy, wacky and sometimes unbearably unhinged but sweet believer. Gremlins 2 really left me in a chokehold with a time that left me feeling both outright confused and astonishingly dying of laughter. This films creativity from the…
Lexo lovedGremlins 2: The New Batch⭐️8.5/10⭐️ the first movie was fun, but this one is so much better in my opinion. all of the different gremlins & characters add more. also Gizmo becoming Rambo was so cute & badass of him. my favorite gremlin is my probably the brain one, he’s so silly & distinguished 👹

Solid, agreeable entertainment, this basically consists of plentiful gags and lighthearted satire spiked with Dante's compulsive taste for movie references, humorously scripted by Charlie Haas but without the darker thematic undertones and the more tableaulike construction of the original.

Yes, it has some big laughs, and yes, some of the special effects are fun, but the movie has too many gremlins and not enough story line.
