so nice seeing Jerry smile and having a ball on stage
What a great birthday present for Jerry. Seeing the band on film, like seeing them live, is a one-of-a-kind experience. Show was marred by projectionist muting the sound for the first two numbers. Encore Knocking on Heaven’s Door: Priceless
The Dead are timeless. I hope these "meetups" are.
Such a joy to see the old lineup. I was almost in tears watching Jerry and Brent interact. This was my first meet up. It’s now gonna be on my perpetual calendar. I immediately went home and started pulling out the live concerts on vinyl. Can’t wait u til next year!!! Bravo👏
Is it 8/1/19 yet?
Amazing show
What a beautiful show for a beautiful man! Happy Birthday Jerry!
A tremendous show. Jerry was so into it...smiling...rockin'...interacting with all the band members. Haunting Standing on the Moon! Wonderful rendition of Knockin' On Heaven's Door!
Saw this at Regal Brandywine Town Center, on the outskirts of Wilmington DE. Sound was Great throughout (even if I couldn't feel the Phil bombs or The Beam)! We could have used an actual intermission (old bladders throughout), but no complaints, otherwise. I have this show on DVD, but you can't beat a large screen and great sound.
Would have been nice if the sound was on half way through Hell In A Bucket in North Brunswick, NJ.
So enjoyable .. took me back to the days. They were having such a great time at that show..everyone was smiling and it came through in the music.
Great night at the Grateful Dead 2018 Meet-Up. 3 hrs.of Dead music with good people in attendance appreciating all of it !
great to see that show my wife and i where at that show with my three year old son at that time long live the dead
Wasn't quite like being there, but it satisfied my GD fix. the 3 hours just flew by. at the end i still wanted more
Need to advertise more on a local scale.
Regal Poulsbo; Turn it up!! you play movies louder than the music last night! Other than that it was great to relive the summer tour of '89.
Great show. I miss Jerry and the original Dead...
I remember seeing this show live almost 29 years ago so it was great seeing it again. It was great to see Jerry smiling and having fun doing what he did so well.
Epic concert as usual from the Dead!
It’s always a pleasure seeing the greats. Happy birthday Jerry see you next year
Loved it....but the volume needs to be turned up!
Great show and great film. Was at this concert and actually saw my friend in crowd next to stage. God bless the Grateful Dead, and happy birthday Jerry!
First time at a "meet up". It was fun and great to see the audience singing, some dancing and clapping at the end of each tune. Would def go again.
Great show. Wonderful watching Jerry in such a great mood. And Brent, man that guy worked the keyboards for all they were worth.
The Dead in great form, and Jerry Garcia in a healthy period in his life. A top notch show from an underrated period in the Dead's history. A great run of shows around this time.
When Jerry is having fun, it's always a great time!! Thank you for yet another memorial show!
Any chance to see Jerry smiling and playing his heart out is fun. I’ve seen most of the previous meet ups and this wasn’t my favorite (sound problem during warm up and at beginning of the concert). Plus it just wasn’t loud enough. Same period Alpine show, from a few years ago, was much better. But Jerry close ups and the second set jams were devine.
meh. great let it grow, but i don't agree that jerry was his best or this show was the best when jerry's really jazzed, he breaks out the hummer strum (ask a girl if you don't know what that is). didn't see any of that. and i just never fell for brent. sorry. i like the old way of filming where you can actually see them play - not like the filmer has ADD. anyway, i've seen earlier gd nites films and they were more rockin'. better luck next year i guess...
Really great show! Glad I found out about it and so happy I was able to go.
Nicely remastered 1989 concert at RFK stadium.
Perfection!
Great sound. Great seeing them again
Amazing show! Jerry sounded great & looked happy.
Loved the film and the presentation in my theater. It is really a cinema verite look, with about 6 cameras capturing the band playing some of their best songs at the heyday of their late 1980's resurgence.
It was great seeing Jerry and Brent feeding off each other. Brent blew me away on the first set.
Loved seeing the guys give it their all on a really hot night.
My son's girlfriend liked the first act, and I liked the second act. Filming was great, and music was as always.
This was my first GD concert. #newtotheparty
Brent Was Blowin It Away!! Interplay with Jerry was special
One of the best shows I've every seen. Talk about a Scarlet Fire followed by and Estimated Standing on the Moon. And that Blow Away! Miss you too, Brent.
What a great night out! Great show choice and great company. My only complaint is that action movies are turned up louder than this was. Still great though!
Great view of an epic show! Perfect way to celebrate Jerri’s birthday and his talent!! Amazing musicians, beautiful ballads 🎶
Never saw them perform before. It was great.
Felt like I was at a Dead stadium show in 89. Went to DC but this Philly show is amazing, especially Blow Away and Scarlet>Fire.
Great show!
Great show I've heard many times. Was cool to see it.
Those were the days...
It was great seeing how much Jerry and Brent loved each other and loved playing together...such a fun night!
All we needed was a sun baking us and a few 'twirlers' and it would be perfect.
The Goddamn Grateful Dead 💀 ❤️
