Imagine your worst panic attack. Times it by 100.

James (Schaffrillas)Aug 26, 2017A green Sprite bottle, given almost a mythical introduction in a frenetic monologue, slips out of the hand of a character and roles into a puddle of water. The camera, finally imparted from its intense close-ups to a God's eye long shot, lingers just for a second as it…

when robert pattinson dyes his hair blond and runs around erratically he's a good actor but when i do it i'm "hysterical" and "scaring the children"

This movie is really good, but incredibly stressful and incredibly upsetting for two specific scenes: one where something awful happens to Barkhad Abdi that made me really sad, and one where Robert Pattinson has an extremely terrible-to-watch interaction with a 16 year-old…

mia 🦇A lot of reviewers have keyed into the way this observes how Connie's privilege allows him to keep bucking the system until it has no choice but to arrest him, but to me this is also a powerful story about an emotional abuser and his undeniable love for his brother, who is…

I know this movie kind of gets a lot of hate but I don’t know why. It’s a messed up story obviously but a very engaging one none the less. I find Robert Pattinson’s character tragic and compelling for all the wrong reasons. This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Similar to it’s Safdie brother counterpart Uncut Gems in pace, I found Good Time to be more digestible. A champion brother, emotionally portrayed by Pattinson, tries to do what’s best for his bro while doing all the wrong things along the way. A modern Lennie and George OM&M stry

7.7 - similar to Uncut Gems, a 100 minute panic attack. An extremely frantic pace, bright colors, non-stop pulsing synth, & one of Pattinson’s best performances all come together for a hell of a trip & a clear intro to the Safdies’ style. Just don’t know if I can watch it again.
This movie makes me so uncomfortable the entire time. There is so much chaos and insane things happening that you’re just in an anxiety ridden state watching this movie. Robert Pattinson did a fantastic job.

Okay movie but I just couldn’t get into it the way I wanted to. The storyline is good as well as the acting but overall it was not as appealing to me for whatever reason
totally skippable has a similar vibe of uncut gems but slower, lot of chaos on this movie, kinda random sometimes, and make me feel a bit uncomfortable

I've seen a lot of movies this year but I really believe Good Time is by far the best of 2017. I felt like I was watching a midnight movie made in the 80s. 'Nuff said.

Pattinson keeps you interested, even when the movie’s tone and pace wobbles.
What starts out as an invigorating odyssey winds up becoming an enervating series of postures.
Stripping away almost all traces of movie-star glamour to reveal the naked, nervy talent underneath, Pattinson finally bursts out of the chrysalis of his pin-up boy celebrity. The metamorphosis from YA heartthrob into electrifying character actor is complete.
