You just gotta see it. I was planning on offing myself today but I don’t think I will now.
What a waste
I was not expecting this movie to be so good, but the story line and the humor was just top tier! Perfect casting as well!
Awesome! Great message about the world we live in.
The acting was off in this movie
it was a miss for me :(
This Movie Makes You Appreciate You And Your Life.
I can’t believe how awful this movie is. Keanu Reeves is better than this!
wait for it to come on cable
Makes you really think, and appreciate things a bit more.
This was a story I could relate to. Love the entire cast.
Funny, GREAT cast, slow and kind of preachy in it'ssoci a l commentary regarding the gig economy, but amusing situation and makes you think a bit about different lives. Each cast member is very funny in their own way.
Not a good movie!
Pro socialism. Spiritual
I absolutely loved it. I came in not really knowing the story, but I'm so glad we saw it! Hilarious and touching. I literally teared up at the end.
Fun movie I definitely enjoyed the characters! I would recommend it to a friend.
This movie was awe inspiring and sheds light on the wrongs of our world
Great cast - actors we enjoy taking on new roles. I surprisingly enjoyed this great film, it was paced well, and just allowed you to be present and engaged. I would see again
Meh
Keanu Reeves was pretty boring and Seth Rogan brought a mediocre performance I simply thought I was going to get more laughs thinking that this was a straight-up comedy movie when it wasn't it was the longest 1 hour and 38 minute movie I've ever seen so far
Formulaic script I could have written in high school. Aziz Ansari added nothing to the show unless you’re going for uncharismatic and ugly. Not funny and silly movie.
Needed a better ending
“It’s okay to be poor” propaganda
It was nice to experiment the gig economy subtext underneath the religious red herring.
The film provides great, positive messages throughout.
Had a deep meaning especially in today’s society.
It was a movie.
Had to leave early as Someone laid a huge fart heard by everyone in the theater and smelled like road kill.
Familiar plot with talented cast and updated premise.
Shameful
Love Keanu!!
Nice light comedy. Simple story.
good movie
It’s a feel good story with genuine emotion
Great story and cast.
Great movie, everything was just at a good pace, not rushed
loved the metaphor of this movie... there is so much to appreciate.. keanu in a comedy was everything lol... and Seth your ending was spot on.. thank you to all the actors 🙏 🙌 and the writer who came up with this idea.. hope people "get it".
Liberal cliche
Good movie, my parking wasn’t validated so 1 star.
The message is nothing new, and the acting was okay.
I like the message but not the acting.
Great movie! Great message!
I really enjoyed it. It was fun.
Loved the story & plot but disappointed with the ending. Would have ended it differently with him getting larger wings!
It was Amazing and heart warming 💪
Good for a relaxing Sunday movie. The ending could have been better. I felt like it was missing something. I got the message but I also thought no one should be ok if they aren't happy with where they are but to thrive to do better.
Definitely an interesting movie and an emotional roller coaster. Be ready for some mixed feelings.
I saw this movie with my teenage son. The cast was well chosen! It was awesome for him to see the extremes. It was definitely a great laugh out loud comedy but I wouldn't watch again.
It was a good movie. Nice message in the end. The characters were really amazing. Will definitely recommend people to watch.
Really enjoyed it. Makes you reflect on your life.
Metacritic
Unfortunately, the sharp point of view and creative risk-taking present in Ansari’s acclaimed series Master Of None (co-created with Alan Yang) are nowhere to be seen in this pedestrian comedy full of convoluted plot points.
Ansari struggles as a writer when he tries to make the movie into a commentary on the widening economic rift of the 2020s, and he truly rushes the ending in a way that feels a bit unearned, but there’s so much to like about the four stars of this movie that it’s a really tough flick to hate.
Thanks to the engaging ensemble and the breezily improvised feel to many of its funnier line readings, Good Fortune coasts along agreeably on all those good intentions.
