Synopsis
When melancholic construction worker Dan (Keith Kupferer) finds himself drifting from his wife and daughter, he discovers community and purpose in a local theater's production of Romeo and Juliet. As the drama onstage starts to mirror his own life, he and his family are forced to confront a personal loss.

Great movie! Still think shakespeare sucks though
Bryan Beckel lovedGhostlightI cannot imagine dealing with the death of a child, and thinking about dealing with it is hard to comprehend. This movie spoke to me in a deep way about how we deal with our emotions after tragedy. The characters are raw and the story is thoughtful and full of a quiet joy. 🥲❤️

it was a great story with good characters and actors. While I really appreciated seeing this movie’s subtlety, they were kinda too subtle in some aspects. it felt like they were on the cusp of something amazing but couldn’t quite land the mark 8.5/10

This is a beautifully life-affirming fable about the power of art to heal, but really, it’s the people making the art that do the work. Ghostlight is a stunning and incredibly moving tribute to that process.
