    Took forever for anything to happen. Also, violence was a bit for the sake of it rather than being a dramatic device.

    This movie isn’t talked about enough. I truly believe Daniel Day is the best actor of all time. Then its Leo. And them two together in a movie is incredible. 7.8/10

There is greatness in Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York: titanic acting, violent poetry, moviemaking on a grand scale, a real air of daring. And there is flab in it as well, and confusion.
