Atom User Reviews for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
my goodness I loved it and I may go and watch it again in 4DX. this movie was so good....and the words were very few!!!
You definitely won't be bored with this once.
Fantastic movie but great refresher to brutal action and story that makes me want to see it again!
Loved the story and action. They keep getting better. Looking forward to more.
Best movie of 2024 so far
Movie of the decade. The genius behind Fury road is at it again with this 10/10 masterpiece.
Another great installment in the Mad Max film series. Fantastic!
A rip roaring insane adventure 100% worth seeing the biggest screen possible
Wasn't bad, Thor was a decent bad guy. Cool that they spoofed the 1st made Mad Max and tired everything together.
Simple story with great action and some pretty incredible set pieces. Stunt driving is fantastic and the characters are great. Gives the people what they actually want from the first scene
You won't want to miss a second of the action, plan drinks and snacks accordingly.
Do you have it in ya to make it epic
The movie drags and is not to be confused with a slow burn movie. It has poor pacing issues and has abrupt stops between action scenes, which are amazing and desperately needed much more, and then back to another 30 minutes to slog through. The kicker is the credits show us scenes a better movie being the 2016 movie. Ultimately, it's not a bad film. This has the title of mad max in it, be a mad max film and not a chore to watch. It focuses too much on her as a kid and people watching this saw the last movie and know she was taken, what the locations is, etc. It treats the audience like they don't know what is happening and needs to explain itself rather than building ontop of what people already know. As a fan of the old movies and the 2016 film, this one seemed unnecessary and a dud in the franchise.
This was hands down the worst movie I’ve ever seen. 3/4 of it was engine noises. Anya Taylor Joy spoke a total of 7 words the entire 16 days the movie went on for. You couldn’t pay me to see this film. I’d rather get waterboarded then see this
10/10 this was insane!!! Love the story from start to end and how it ties to the Mad Max series! Everyone did a great job
the best part of the movie was the girl who grew up and kicked a** other than that it wasn't worth the hype
This was not a real Mad Max experience. Not even close.
Would watch again! Good entry into the series
I highly recommand that movie
expectations were high but movie is so disappointing.
Sound and Furiousa, signifying nothing. Honestly, kinda boring.
How much bad CGI can you put in a movie?
I wish it was better. The action scenes were not as much or intense as I hoped for. It wasn't as good as the first movie, Fury Road
average day in australia
I love the vehicle warfare in this movie but the plot isn’t very fun compared to the previous mad max movies.
Lame
Hemsworth was dreadful. This version is missing the raw grit of the previous Mad Max. The stunts were too…precise. Previous movie had a frenzied chaos about it. Anya Taylor Joy was very good. Overall, a mid Origin Story. But Fury Road was significantly a better film.
Pretty darn good! The story is probably the best that this franchise has seen (although the ending is pretty lackluster and disappointing), and the action is pretty enjoyable. That being said, the action and visual wonder doesn't even come close to what Fury Road achieved. Chris Hemsworth was terrific as Dementus though. I hope he takes on more interesting roles like this one because he does a phenomenal job.
it was ok , there was something was quite right in my believe
Too quite, almost fell asleep
A cinematic farewell to fossil fuels 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Charlize Theron should have been given a cameo appearance in the end somewhere
An action-packed kick off of the holiday weekend! Gives new meaning to the term”all terrain vehicle.”
You would need to bare with the beginning as it feels it drags a bit story wise but the action was great and enjoyable. Fans of Twisted Metal would enjoy the action sequences.
The movie is what you should expect action packed great performances A great looking movie a great story Ana Taylor Joy and Chris Hemsworth performances are superb
Very well done movie! Hope they continue to create pictures from this saga.
very good
m
movie was a lot better than I expected pretty intense
It is a really great show, good dialogue, great characters, great visuals, and Chris Hemsworth is an excellent bad guy
The biggest hit of the summer. Anna Taylor Joy is amazing as Furiosa. She gives the performance of a lifetime. This is a must-see film.
I have to say I’m pleasantly impressed. What a freaking movie. Thank God it wasn’t another little tiny unbelievable female heroine. I truly appreciated the character development and the way that the story was told. Dementio was indeed believable and he also has depth, what a hell they lived in. Her lover brought humanity and hope, wow what a sad world. The ending was epic. Seriously I would see this again. And…the peach, seriously. #MadMaxProud
Huge fan of Fury Road, but Furiosa minimizes what makes Fury Road great and ramps up the brutality and grotesqueness of the wasteland to a 10 and chooses to stay focused on that. It is a bleak, drudging story that despite great visuals and sound design, struggles to find any heart or motivation besides hate. Instead of learning more interesting background to the characters from Fury Road, it instead to expands time on their nipple rubbing and crotch guards. If you want to see it, you can skip the theater and see it at home. Unlike Fury Road, this has far fewer grand sequences.
Ending a bit weird & confusing
AMAZING MOVIE
The ads made it look like it was going to be bad but it is honestly amazing. I was very worried about the casting but both leads knocked it out of the park
I thought it was pretty good.
compare to 2015 seems like they pay the money in wrong direction
The movie staring Anya Taylor Joy and Chris Hemsworth was a great movie.
Best viewed in a sandstorm.

It harkens back to the more sprawling nature of the original Mad Max films, but it’s also a spiritual work that grapples with how humanity reacts to grief and loss— whether sorrow perverts you or makes you stronger—all while delivering on the visual spectacle you could hope for from Miller.
The film attests to George Miller’s enduring aptitude for utilizing the ridiculous to achieve the sublime.

For the first time in Miller’s now-five-film franchise, he seems to be falling shy of the immediacy he’s sustained, often deliriously, for an entire feature.
