i love that the movie opens with them being like, “okay, bond, here’s your assignment: there’s some random chick who is obsessed with you and wants to bang you... go see what that’s all about!”

"Red wine with fish. Well that should have told me something." Quintessential Bond. As only the second installment in the franchise, it's incredible both how fully formed it already feels and how much heavy lifting it does for the future of the series. All the tropes…

This movie feels like Bond has finally gotten in its flow. Unlike Dr. No, From Russia With Love has a Bond theme, Q makes his first appearance, and SPECTRE and Blofeld introduced. Deniela Bianchi is a captivating Bond girl in this film, and this Bond feels more romantic…
Ethan ColburnOct 18, 2022This movie introduced me to the concept of drinking specific wines with specific foods and now every time I see someone eating cod and guzzling merlot I just assume they’re evil. Despite the plot being a little loose in places I love the vibe and characters in this. Begins…

This is an obviously good classic and definitely deserves that title
It’s got a very boring 1h and 20 as it’s just sex scenes and one action scene that’s kinda mid but the last 30 minutes are Brilliant as they are action packed and full of what the story lead up to. I prefer Dr.No but only barely Overall 8.8/10 Good bond flick Hyped for Goldfinger
I was surprised how much I enjoyed the movie. Some great action. One brutal fight. For the time, it feels well done. Excited for the next one. I’ve seen Austin Powers dozens of times. So it was also fun seeing so many areas they parodied came from this movie specifically.

Maybe its not aged so well and certainly a bit cringe on the sexism front. But back in the day; Sean Connery, 2 cracking baddies in Robert Shaw & what's her name with the flick knife in toe of her shoe...whats not to love. One of my top 3 from 1963
I’ll lump all the James Bond films up to Casino Royale into one review. I love them all and there’s very few instalments that I don’t enjoy. I hope they keep making them till the day I die, fantastic films! 13/07/2023 (Historical Review)

Great bond film, a bit complicated to understand the plot and what is going on. Overall 7/10, Sean Connery is great actor and James Bond.
The second entry in the Connery-Bond era was just as much of a hit as the first! Action packed, teeming with charisma and charm

Exciting, handsomely staged, and campy.
For my money, still the best Bond, with a screwball plotline that keeps the locales changing and the surprises coming—even when reason dictates that the picture should be over. Lotte Lenya and Robert Shaw make a creepy pair, and Daniela Bianchi embodies the essence of centerfold sex, circa 1964.
A cracking cold war story.
