Synopsis
A group of scientists have developed the Resonator, a machine which allows whoever is within range to see beyond normal perceptible reality. But when the experiment succeeds, they are immediately attacked by terrible life forms.

Horror Movie Lover dislikedFrom BeyondUnlikable characters. Makes you want to rethink your life experiences. It was so weird and there were a lot of scenes I wanted to scratch my eyes out at. Also, I was watching it with my friend the first time they stayed over at my house so the extremely horny plot was crazy.
Lee likedFrom BeyondNot as expansive & trippy as expected given the word of mouth & Lovecraftian connections, but it's a good practical fx time. The blandness of the pseudo-haunted house really drops the atmosphere. Def a strong rec to my fellow sickos who enjoy Society & The Substance.

Gordon still hasn't mastered the simplest filmmaking techniques. The gross-out sliminess and sexual acting out are supposed to provide a purgative release, but all Gordon does is gawk at the excess for what seems like forever: his voyeurism is too unpleasant for casual entertainment, too mild to constitute a pornographic vision.
