Bad movie. Very few redeeming qualities. I found the plot to be rather ridiculous. Alison Brie’s character does that dumb thing where bullets are flying and explosions are going off, but she’s determined to film the action with her phone.  It looks laughable on screen. John…

Ironic that John Cena plays as a guy who takes on a job for extra money to do a job involving a bad plot, because that's exactly what happened to him taking on this movie.

It’s almost impressive to take two such likable actors and make such an unlikable movie. Just atrocious.

Brie and Cena look lifeless and blank-faced; they’ve got no chemistry, and the objectionable dynamics of him manfully rescuing her shrieking from the clutches of the bad guys on repeat feel like a satire of the genre – which this isn’t.

Freelance, like Cena’s Mason, wants to be something more, but maybe it should’ve settled for something a little more simplistic and straightforward and found the joy in that.
