My favorite blend of horror and comedy. Great and funny cast.
gore was in expect we but funny
Not exactly original, but highly entertaining and funny
Friday the 13th, freaky Friday, the hot chick, all in one... what could go wrong? A lot. Nice production though! The fact that it’s a comedy helps me look past a lot cause I try and have a sense of humor but I wanted more depth and character development. A lot of inconsistencies overall but it was quite entertaining! It’s funny how a serial killer has more style than a teenage girl. I guess with the mask he used before he learned to accessorize.
Surprisingly really funny
Great movie!!!! Loved every second of it!!!! Best date night movie every!!!! Had us both laughing hysterically!!
I WOULD DEFINITELY GO WATCH THIS MOVIE AGAIN! Great cast!!!
It’s funny and entertaining. Vince is creepy
There were times I wished Freaky was a little bit bolder and more surprising. Still, it’s an entertaining showcase for Vaughn and Newton, and a solid entry in the body-swap canon. In other words, it’s exactly what you think it is, inside and out.
The unspoken joke of the title is that this movie really wants to be called “Freaky Friday the 13th,” which is not a bad starting point, but the line dividing gory violence and farcical hilarity — which Landon has skillfully walked in the past — gets too blurry for the movie’s own good.
Although Landon and co-screenwriter Michael Kennedy have latched onto a winning concept, pairing the body-swap conceit with serial killer thrills, they’ve freighted the film with so many trite life-lesson moments that the fun gradually drains from the narrative, like blood from a murder victim.
