    this movie was my childhood, the artistry, the colors, the concept - its all absolutely perfect. Robin williams as batty was a great choice, he adds a layer of lightness and humor in a movie that touches on real issues w deforestation and pollution. 10/10

    Pretty dark themes for a children’s picture, but a pretty important message regarding the way we treat the earth. I remember it affecting me pretty significantly even as a kid. Good music, decent animation, and voice acting is extremely fitting.

    I just re- watched it and it really struck a cord now that I am an adult. It's got a very valuable lesson about how we should treat earth and nature with respect and not deforest it. Plus I love Robin Williams and Tim Curry. Batty is so cute.

    I love watching something a lot as a kid, not touching it for years, then watching it again as an adult; it’s always completely different viewing experiences. The message stays obvious though: humans should help nature or leave it alone.

    Made little me have so much respect for nature and was a good introduction into why we shouldn’t be destroying our natural world ! Done in a fantastic way for children !!!

The story tells a useful lesson, the jungle inhabitants are amusing, and although the movie is not a masterpiece it's pleasant to watch for its humor and sweetness.
