    This is really one of my all time favorite movies, but i might be in the minority. I can understand why it get so much hate from some people, it's not exactly breaking new ground with the whole "reality vs. illusion" theme, and it's a very strange, creepy and trippy movie.…

    I wasn’t expecting to like this movie as much as I did but it was just so cool. Not too many layers but the right amount. Felt opened ended but not at the same time. If you’re unsure by the mixed revues I would say it’s worth a watch for sure !

    Definitely in the bottom end of Cronenberg’s filmography, but it’s not awful. Solid effects, mix of CG but some practical. Tonally and narratively confused, is horror, is it action? Is it both?

    題材蠻特別的！但不太懂導演為何要強調一些性暗示的成分在裡頭。蠻喜歡造型師根據劇情在演員髮型上做的設計，讓觀影者能更好的解讀劇情！

Because of the potential of the idea and Cronenberg's reputation as a film maker, it's a real disappointment to watch eXistenZ fall apart the way it does.

Its name, the film's title, is pronounced eggs is tense and meant to have a whiff of the philosophical, even if its intellectual ambition seems mostly limited to spelling affectations.
