I loved it super cute

A conflicted girl battling her life to love and experience what love has proposed to her. It's a great film for teens, especially when it conveys the genuine emotions that a teenager girl would encounter in her life. Despicable yet caring mother, an important rule of the movie.

This movie is just awful. It's so awkward and slow.

Was a very good movie but kind of predictable. Kind of have a idea of what was going to happen next before it even happened.

I was actually surprised. It was a good movie, given it was dubbed a chickflick beforehand. The storyline was predictable given the trailers. However, the story did draw me in and the ending had multiple ways it could had chosen. Yet it chose one, I personally, didn't expect. I was talked into going by my teen daughter, expected to be bored. She thoroughly enjoyed it and I (her father) actually did also. It will be a struggle to get the macho guys to go to it and they probably will say they "hated it". But inside, they will enjoy it.

Very refreshing as a short, African American girl with Cooley curls who is an aspiring actress to see representation of yourself in the lead role. Wasn't a masterpiece, but beautiful none the less. The intelligence made up for the few corny cliches and the surprise end won me over.

My wife loved it. It was a great date night film.

I was amazed at how the storyline played out. Very good movie to see with someone you love, no matter the person.

It may not break the mold in many ways but one, but the impact of that one is far from trivial.

The lead actors are attractive and charismatic and give nuanced performances. Unfortunately, the dialogue they are given to speak is often trite and too many plot strands are unconvincing.
