Atom User Reviews for Elvis: '68 Comeback Special
Fantastic but not nearly loud enough. Please follow up with a screening of the Aloha From Hawaii tv special!
Elvis is always amazing, even 50 years later.
I smiled the entire time. It was awesome seeing Elvis on the BIG screen.
Amazing! He was simply the best. Be sure to stay for the outtakes.
Great to see it on the big screen and the sound was amazing
It’s Elvis at his absolute happiest....doing what he was born to do. There will never be anyone that could come close to him.
There will never be another one like Elvis! The best ❤️
Amazing event ! Well done ! Long live the king 👑
Awesome. Elvis at his best.
So good!! I felt Like I was There in ‘68!!
This was awesome to watch on the big screen!
Since I never got to see Elvis in concert this was the next best thing. I liked the commentary from Binder at the beginning and the outtakes at the end. I also liked that they showed home movie footage and trivia prior to the event. If I had known that I would have shown up earlier. I have the 68 Special on VHS so this special event was a treat for an Elvis fan like me. I do wish that it would have been converted to High-Def. Now I am ready for more Elvis events such as the Aloha Special. Keep em coming Fathom.
I've seen this so many times, but it never gets old. It's even better on the big screen with the added scenes and bloopers at the end!
The making of and the Comeback Special was great. I enjoyed the additional footage was not seen in the original broadcast; yet there was footage from the original that was left out. The Steve Binder and Priscilla was a great added attraction. Would definitely see it again....
Amazing to see on the big screen, brought a year to my eye A great tribute to a man who will never die

So much fun!
It was great fun to see the energy he had
I could have watched Elvis sing in that leather outfit for hours. A unique talent at his peak.
Today was the 41st anniversary of Elvis’ death. And is Elvis week. It’s great to see him jamming which he loved.
Priscilla Presley looks very fake with all the plastic surgery
Elvis is the Best ever. Love him more today than ever💜 such a handsome and talented young man who so many Love and will carry his songs, movies, and concerts to their grave😍 great show and yes awesome seeing him on the Big Screen 😘
Unbelievable great. You felt you were in the room with Elvis.
Loved seeing it again and hearing the story behind the special from Steve and Priscilla. So cool they shared their memories.
Loved every moment. Thing there might have been some scenes added to the original. There's no one like him. Never will be again. Takes my breath away!
Absolutely wonderful! Brought back many memories!
the one and only King rock the house!!!!
It was just wonderful! My 29 year old had quite a few chuckles as Elvis has a fun sense of humor. "If I Can Dream" is such a precious song & perfect for today's world as it was for '68, with the times of ML King & Bobby Kennedy. I just keep falling in love with Elvis!
Only downplay- I thought it might have been converted to high d f but it wasn’t. That’s the only negative.
I had never seen this special before, so it this was a great opportunity. There is nothing like seeing Elvis, enjoying what he does best, and on the big screen. It was wonderful, and a sold out show.
Great really enjoyed it brought back a lot of good memories Elvis is still the King of Rock n Roll
The lead in explaination of the original filming with Steve Binder and Priscilla Presley really set the stage for understanding the impact of the film. Though 50 years old the quality of the “special” was great. And Elvis was fantastic - loved the extras at the end of th film.
Show was very good once it got started - 8 minutes late. Had to alert theater nothing was on the screen to get it going. Pre-show stopped about 10 minutes from the end which was unfortunate since it was relevant to the show and what we did see was very interesting. All theater problems I know but was disappointing.
This movie shows Elvis at his best. His voice was smooth, yet forceful. He looked fit and ready to give the best performance that he could give. A definite must see.
Good to see E again.
How fun it was to see that special <again> And yes, I cried on the way home.
Better than it was 50 years ago.
Love ❤️ the movie 🎥 on the big screen. Bring more of Elvis to the big screen
He always was a showman loved what he was doing singing and making his fans top priority Loved it then loved it even more now.
This was great. I remember seeing it on TV originally. I also have the DVD, but seeing it on the big screen was fabulous. What an entertainer he was! Every Elvis fan needs to see this!
Great to see the Elvis ‘68 Comeback Special on the big screen! Still holds up after 50 years.
Great. Elvis still the King
ELVIS! This was great! I love the parts that have been added. The original cut was awesome and this is EPIC! Loved it! Waiting for the Blu Ray!
