Synopsis

A documentary crew follows Ed Brown, a middle-aged building inspector, as he returns to his childhood dream of digging a hole to China. When Ed's plans go viral and a billionaire investor gets involved, the whole world tunes in. Ed must face why he's digging this hole, the loss of a childhood friend, his strained relationship with his father, and what it means to attempt the impossible.

    Quirky little movie that has a whole lot of heart. Picked this up at We Luv Video. Made by one of their employees and I think that’s awesome. Phillip Andrew Johnson was the perfect lead for this.

    S.I.P. Lovely film. Phillip Johnson kills it as lovable dork Ed. Premise also rules. That said, I get that the hole is a metaphor, but I did find myself wishing this movie had a few less social media montages and more hole digging.

    Ahhh this was so good and cute and funny. Proud to know the people who made this! There are so many small moments that were incredible like the hole theorist and the Dad standing off to the side at the end. Loved it.
