That one sequence with Astaire in slow-mo while the backup dancers are moving at normal speed is some god damn transcendent cinema

The resurrection of Judy Garland should be celebrated more than once a year tbh
Sara ClementsVery few actors have the charm of Fred Astaire that they could start a film off by stealing a toy from a child and still be the romantic lead.

I liked it and the individual performances are charming but it’s hard to buy Fred Astaire (49) and Judy Garland (26) being in love.
A great musical film with some fun numbers and brilliant performances from Fred Astaire and Judy Garland. Perfect Easter movie
