I think I was expecting a lot more laughs but it just misses with almost every scene
Pointless waste of time. The actors are good, but the plot is dull and the "ensemble cast" is total marketing. Far beneath anything Joel Coen should be involved. They phoned this one in. Stay home and rewatch "Hail Caesar."
Stupid movie!
very entertaining
Raunchy movie. It was weird
I loved it the actors were fantastic
I walked out halfway through. There was no comedy. If you ever forget that the 2 main girls were lesbians, it's okay, they'll remind you every few minutes. I kept waiting for the comedy, and I either didn't get it, or it just wasn't funny.
Not much originality to offer. It was Thelma & Louise minus the abusive relationship but add in the overt lesbianism. I shouldn’t have expected a great flick from The Coen Bros. around this time of year since Hail Caesar! was a hit and a miss in Feb ‘16 as well. Better luck next time.
some of it was dragged out and I was confused on how old they were supposed to be bc of the kissing scenes with the soccer team??? it was kinda camp , lesbian scenes were not made with lesbians in mind
Disgusting and inappropriate
Awful
Weird but funny. It did not go the way I expected it to.
Metacritic
It doesn’t fully cohere, but it sure is a party.
The result is a mere yarn that, lacking any sense of meaningful retrospect at a quarter century’s distance, remains untethered at either end of its time line and merely goes slack.
In many ways this feels like an update on the exploitation movies of the 1970s and '80s that played on drive-in theater screens before eventually making their way to VHS and late-night TV cult viewings. It’s Sharp Cheddar Cheese on Wry (sorry) and it’s a cool and breezy 84 minutes of fun.
