Atom User Reviews for Dragon Ball Z: Broly- The Legendary Super Saiyan
Like a lot of other DBZ fans, I’ve seen this movie a few times. Seeing this movie on the big screen definitely brought it to life.
Ruined the entire movie and mood by playing the Japanese soundtrack and not the English.
My favorite DBZ movie on the big screen just made it better. My only real gripe in I miss the rock music that played during the original english dub. The Japanese sound track really made the fights more lighthearted than intense.
AMAZING MOVIE THANK YOU FOR BRINGING IT BACK TO THEATERS GOT TO CONNECT WITH SO MUCH FANS SO MUCH NOSTALGIA THANKS
Movie started a little late.. which I wasn't too upset about since I've seen it plenty of times, just not on the big screen with a crowd. Also, the Japanese audio is horrible imo. I liked the rock tracks that came with the dubbed version better. It gave the movie life and more meaning to the battles. Four out of ten for me.
I really love this movie especially hearing the theme song play on the big screen
It was good up until Vegeta started acting like a baby after finding out about the "legendary super saiyan" and Goku pulls a Saitama and kills Broly with one punch. Supa disappointing!
its always great to DBZ on the big screen, I miss the stupid licence music but still great
Broly yo !!
Movie was canceled
Broccoli dies
amazing ...just wish they kept the pantera music
Broly is always awesome!
Absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed every second of it.
Not the English intro but it was still lovely
I'm glad they played the Japanese intro and not the English (cannot stand the english version). I took my boyfriend to see it for our 9 year anniversary and he loved it and it was very nostalgic for him. All the cheese and corniness was no problem for me because I know that's what comes with a DBZ movie made in 1993. It was great and fun to watch and we will be watching the double feature in November as well. Any REAL DBZ fan would definitely enjoy this film
fantastic story of broly, right before we get to the next chapter coming in January
Great seeing this movie on the big screen! Very fast paced and even the ending gets straight to the point (punch)! Good for a non canon movie, but I am looking forward to seeing Goku and Broly go at it in the new canon Super movie. Enjoy!
My movie did not even start until an hour after the supposed start time. By then, much of the audience left. Overall terrible experience. I have seen the movie dozens of times so I can't be too mad.
Just as I remember from my childhood. Although, the orgininal soundtrack is kinda a dampener, and the not original translation kinda was a bummer but it was nice to see it in theaters again.
It’s good
Fantastic. I grew up on this. So great seeing it on the big screen. Hope you got to see it during its limited run!!
I loved the movie
Its great to see my favorite Dragon Ball Z movie on the big screen! The movie lacked the heavy metal tracks that made the fights intense, and Broly surreal and terrifying. Not that they couldn't be without the tracks, its just a great touch to have. However, I noticed while watching on the big screen, that because of the soundtrack they put in, that the characters voices are a bit higher pitched than I remembered. If you ever find the dvd to this movie, I highly recommend that. But still, even, though this movie has its faults, and I have my prejudices (Broly is my favorite character, I met his voice actor twice), I still think seeing the movie in theaters is a good call. Whether you're a hardcore fan, or if you're trying to get into it, you'll love this film.
Movie started on time, looked and sounded good. Would come out for next DBZ movie showing.
“It’s over broccoli”. Missed out with the missing music but epic nonetheless.
A good DBZ movie. Have never seen it before. I think they ended it too soon. This one movie could have been closer to 2hours long. Just kind of ended nice and neat unlike the show. Only complaint would be the theater. They could not get the picture to play before to movie and had to restart the movie because they had the same problem. Only audio. But once it was fixed it was a good movie.
Alot more screaming Broly and crying Vegeta than I remember as a kid watching it, but still loved every second
Always support

The movie was funny and typical DBZ. The ending was...... uuuuuuuuuhhhhhh short lived. Haha. I am glad it came to theatres.
I still feel like the original rock music was better but this Japanese soundtrack was a new experience and a good one at that.
the best evet
seen it befor great on the big screen.
Definitely one of the better DBZ movies but it does drag on Vegeta's character. I still enjoyed and plus on the big screen! What a treat!
5 stars just for being a DBZ movie in the theater. But really, it isn’t a very good film. Main characters acting out of character and villains with no character.
Half way through the movie the whole screen paused, and it took about 15 minutes to have the movie back. By back I mean we had to rewatch parts we have already seen to get back to it. Apparently we were watching on dish... If it weren’t for the movie theatre I would have enjoyed the movie more than I did.
My kid and I loved this. It was his first time watching this movie and I enjoyed his reactions. We loved the movie so much we bought tickets for the DBZ double feature happening in November.
