Atom User Reviews for Dragon Ball Super: Broly
Do NOT see this movie if you are lactose intolerant, because it was LEGEN-waitforit-DAIRY!! Better than even I hoped for!
broly was hot
So action packed. Made for the fans. Very enjoyable. Won't disappoint!
This movie was A1💯
Best anime movie ever
Excited for the future of Dragonball Super!
I can’t give it a 10 sadly but I would
I’ve seen it in Japanese and English can’t wait to see it in Spanish 🧐
wonderful
Im speechless
This movie was equal parts compelling and exciting! I need a nap after watching it...
If there were six stars I would have chosen it without a doubt!!
Pretty much all you could want out of a Dragon Ball Movie. Fun character interactions and half the movie was filled insane sakuga animation and special effects. The very few portions of the movie that used 3D, while noticeable, didn't take away from the enjoyment of the movie at all. Most of it had some incredibly fluid and gorgeous animation.
I’m a huge fan of DB and maybe I’ve just taken on high standards or want every detail to be right. I know they have to take liberties because it’s a movie. But this was probably one of the worst DB movies. It seemed almost cliche, the attempts to add humor, the soundtrack, then the change in animation throughout the fight scenes. Some parts hardly made any sense. That’s said by someone who watched the characters scream and yell to for minutes and even episodes just to make a move. All I mean is Dragonball has a large and loyal fan base, at least give the franchise some justice.
Loved this movie! Been a fan for years and wasn't disappointed at all!!!
come out with part 2

The animations were flawless, but there were parts where it felt a little rushed. Overall it was a great experience, and I can definitely say this is one of my favorite movies of all time

The greatest movie I’ve seen in years. Animation was absolutely gorgeous. Please see this instead of that garbage Aquaman movie!!!!
The fight scene was awesome, Broly is a Beast!!
Everything I wanted and expected plus more
Totally worth the wait. The animation was fantastic, the writing and character interactions were great and of course, the fights were epic. Never did I ever think I’d like this movie as much as the original. But man, this was just as good, if not a bit better. A must see for all Dragon Ball fans and even the casuals. I’d give this movie a 10/10.

Metacritic
If you’re among the heretofore uninitiated drawn to this new Dragon Ball extravaganza, which has been dubbed into English and booked into 1,440 North American theaters, you may often find yourself experiencing similar frustration as you struggle to make sense of a patchwork plot that seems derived from various strands of the ongoing mythos, and is filled with apparently major characters whose backstories are only fuzzily defined.
Overall, Dragon Ball Super: Broly punches triumphantly within its own weight class, aspiring not to any lofty heights of thematic heft or cinematic gravitats, but delivering a visually packed and unabashedly enjoyable experience that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser among enduring fans, the modestly engaged and newcomers alike.
