I’d let Harry Styles spit on me

For as much hype this film had I was disappointed. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. It was way too long.

Twist is that it’s set in a virtual reality where men control women. There I saved you time and money. Olivia Wilde ripped off The Matrix and The Stepford Wives.

The movie is definitely a good watch, I can see why some people may not be a fan of it, but I think it’s definitely over-hated and isn’t as bad as everyone is making it out to seem. The ending could’ve been better, but other than that I thought that it was a good movie and you should definitely check it out.

Unfortunately landed a bit flat, as soon as the reveal happened it was dulled out again and again. There were 3 other smaller twists that happened after and all I could think about is that I’m ready to leave. Pugh was great but all the other performances fell flat.

The music. The directing. The acting. I cannot praise this movie enough. Easily become one of my favorite movies. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time trying to figure it out and wondering where it’s leading. go watch this movie, you won’t regret it.

the rotten tomatoes are olivia wilde haters. there’s not even anything thats needs to be biased if rating this movie. she did such a great job. i felt like i was alice warren. the shots, the plot twist… everything was great.

Nothing original, predictable. Florence Pugh makes the movie. Without her it would be 3 stars.

A lot of plot holes. The movie leaves a lot unexplained. While it had a great cast and the markings of a good story, they didn’t put it together well. Left the movie disappointed.

florence absolutely killed in her performance as alice ! such an interesting twist at the end. harry did a good job for his first major role. and gemma chan!!! what a queen <3

Amazing movie, the cinematography and especially the score are phenomenal. It’s one of those movies that you really only get once you look back on it a few minutes after it ends. A lot of symbolism and even what I thought were flaws in the plot at the end I truly believe to be intentional additions to the symbolism.

I enjoyed the movie and understood the message. The plot twist was interesting. At first I didn't understand Chris Pines Rome but after watching, I got it. It was a great movie.

Probably the weirdest film I’ve seen this year.

It was just ok. Florence Pugh and Chris Pine are great. Others in the cast are good too but it didn’t grab me the way I’d hoped.

I tried to like it but there where so many plot holes or random unexplained stuff that don't make sense anymore once you get the end. BUT Florence and Harry where phenomenal.

Florence was mesmerizing. Definitely a bit slow but having to know the truth keeps you waiting for more. Ending was disappointing but overall good movie. Some crazy twists!

the First Act was entirely too long.

All the drama seems to have happened off camera for director Olivia Wilde and stars Harry Styles and Florence Pugh. What's on screen is a glossy, repetitive retread of The Stepford Wives with a dash of The Truman Show and no discernible personality of its own.

Pugh has precious little to do as Alice, who is less a character and more a series of strung-together cliches, but her hardest challenge is performing opposite the vacant Harry Styles, whose acting is so stiff and self-conscious it’s impossible to take him seriously, much less believe this is a character capable of the things eventually revealed in the film’s comically predictable twist.

With Pugh's powerhouse performance elevating the script and an engaging central mystery to keep the plot moving, the film has enough going for it to make it a pleasing watch.
