What will Disney nature think of next?
Incredibly corny with a terrible announcer voice over and script that ruined any hope that it could be an entertaining movie.
It was our first time to watch a Disney Nature movie. It is a must see for animal lovers of any age!!!
Great way to learn and be entertained. The narration was great. And while it shows the reality none of the focus penguins were harmed.
Such a great film every other year from Disney Nature.
Steve the penguin is endearing. The narration is fun. The music is great!
Movie was great...narration, could be better.
Narration was weird. Same voice was used for character as narrator and narrator would refer to the character in the third person.
It is a very well done movie. Educational but at the same time funny and fun. Worth the time.
Love it it was educational and funny all in one .
It was so sweet and heart warming. Funny and just overall a good feeling.
lame kid's movie.
This film was delightful.
Metacritic
In the spirit of previous Disneynature film voiceover artists John C. Reilly and Tina Fey, Helms contributes a winning inner-monologue voice for Steve, while also delivering the alternately threatening and comforting narration.
This time out however, the Disneynature folks have complemented their flawless footage with a script (narrated by Ed Helms) that is more anthropomorphized than usual.
The film gets laughs from a script emphasizing Steve’s awkwardness and the soundtrack’s use of ’80s power ballads. Of course, nothing in it is as endearing as the birds themselves. The mere sight of their fat bodies waddling across the ice gets the warmest response of all.
