Moviegoers are saying
This polarizing Iñárritu film has audiences either calling it an exhausting disaster or a misunderstood masterpiece in the making, with Tom Cruise delivering what many consider Oscar-worthy theatrics. Critics are sharply divided between those who embrace its over-the-top satirical indulgence and those who find its relentless volume mistaking itself for depth.

demi adejuyigbeSep 30, 2026the kind of film you're either gonna love now, or gonna love a few years later, calling it a misunderstood masterpiece
𝐉Oct 1, 2026Fossil Fools was hackneyed 25 years ago when it was an independent minimalist production, and I can't even begin to express my misgivings with a Kenny Rockwell-funded larger-than-life mega-production where the overblown sets and special effects scream louder than the actors…

KarstenOct 1, 2026Wild theatrical performances, wild filmmaking, I don’t understand why are cinephiles so divided over it. In the times where most films look and feel the same , talk about the most expected things , what must a great filmmaker do if not indulge . Love the indulgence , love…

It feels like a whole movie of Mark Ruffalo’s scenes in Mickey 17
YashleySep 29, 2026Caught in between loving its ideas, but not its execution. Buried deep beneath the incessant yelling of every line of dialogue exists a laborious attempt at satire, desperately begging its audience to laugh but offering very little to laugh at. Possibly the point, but once…
Joe ASep 30, 2026Crazy times call for crazy movies. Crazy times call for disaster movies that stop focusing solely on the catastrophe itself, and how we might somehow escape it, and start addressing just how screwed we really are. Crazy times call for movies that stop dwelling on our bad…

Let’s do it, let’s talk about it, let’s talk about my most anticipated of 2026, let’s talk about Tom Cruise, let’s talk about the masters at work. At its core this film hates you, it hates the world, the people in it, and those in charge. It gives a despicable depiction of people who should be…
Brutalist lovedDiggerNow I’m not a fan of Tom Cruise, but this is undeniably the best performance of the year, and not only that, cause I’ll let you on to a little secret… this is the best film of the year, and easy at that, the year isn’t over yet, my mind is open, but this is hard to top, this is extremely hard to…

Logan Kershaw likedDiggerI can’t possibly talk about this without spoiling it, but the direction of the movie is something I nor anyone could guess. There were parts that felt a little lacklustre, and there were parts that were so strong I couldn’t stop watching. This movie wants to talk about so many things. It’s…

Wow! what a bad, boring and dumb movie. I kept wanting to walk out i was so bored but was curious where it was going and how it is ends and it wasn't worth the wait. I was more entertained on the 2025 version of war of the worlds haha.
SNShohn NovakFabulous! I went in a little confused by the trailers. It’s one of those movies that really stays with you after it’s over. The cast was outstanding, and Tom Cruise was incredible!
