Henry likedDiamonds Are ForeverHumorous and intriguing. Brilliant action, a brilliant car chase and a plot that is slightly more interesting than the typical Bond film, detective Bond! The oil rig ending is a little lacklustre but overall a fun watch. Rating H- 8/10 L- 7/10

It was nice to see Sean Connery back in the role of James Bond. But I thought this film in the series was a bit silly at times and way over the top. I still had a lot of fun with it but it isn’t the best Bond film, overall 4/10.

Diamonds Are Forever is great, absurd fun, not only because it recalls the moods and manners of the sixties (which, being over, now seem safely comprehensible), but also because all of the people connected with the movie obviously know what they are up to.
