A great inspiring true story movie that too few people know about. A hidden gem
This is a movie about a true story which happened during the Korean War of 1950. It’s a serious movie for serious people. Once in a blue moon Hollywood makes a movie like this and not one which will be the opening movie for a series of 10. Only for the serious.

This movie made me feel validated or at least like someone understood the experience of black successful people. This world is not fair and not always good but you have to learn how to stay focused and block out all the hate.

Not your typical war story. It didn’t have a lot of hoorah but it was moving and inspiring. I really appreciated the true to life ending even though most Americans won’t.
I knew the story going in, but it still played me like a violin. This is truly the type of story that we need to remember the Korea War. While epic at times, what makes this movie worth watching is how human it is.
