The mystery buddy comedy featuring the fun duo of Baoqiang Wang and Haoran Liu, shifts to Tokyo to solve another crime case. Tony Jaa gets added to the franchise as a Thai detective but was just ok. Masami Nagasawa was impressive. With high production values, vibrant…

Going into Detective Chinatown 3, I was honestly excited because the first two movies had this perfect mix of comedy, chaos, and a genuinely interesting mystery. This one definitely feels bigger — bigger city, bigger cast, bigger scale but somehow, the heart of the story…
