Sorry Wes Anderson pastel tones are OUT and vomit hues are in, I don’t want to watch anything unless it gives me the aesthetic of food poisoning and that is that.

an incredibly wild, and french plot. every shot is so well perfectly framed and aesthetically pleasing!
Part Gilliam, part Lynch. The camera angles and cinematography are expertly crafted. Not something I’d watch again anytime soon, but this feels like it was quite an achievement for the time. 7.5/10

I can’t believe I’d never heard of this movie. What an incredibly well-conceived and executed work of art. An experience such as the one I had watching this is the reason I love cinema so much.
great camerawork and writing. also the use of sound is so unique. i love the random synchronization of random sounds throughout the building. an artistic film lovers dream

Visually amazing, surreal, funny, horrible. Not a background movie - one to watch with attention.
Visually stunning. I think I just watched the horror version of Amelie
