Cartoonish in every sense of the word, especially in a few moments where it straight up uses Looney Tunes gags as a significant part of its plot. A great satire of sports, celebrity, and bloodlust that doesn’t really “hit” in any meaningful way, but it’s honestly very funny…

Stallone cheeks, David Carradine in a Vader gimp suit, Nazis and elderly sacrifices. This is why I study film.

VIVE_le_FILTHMar 20, 2022Paul Bartel's satirical look at the future of America(n entertainment). It is very over-the-top with its twisted sense of humour and exaggerated violence, but it works so damn well. Seriously, I wish more exploitation movies would be this entertaining. Worthy of its cult…

This was an odd movie. I like that it made a point about the government, and its sci-fi elements were pretty creative for the time. However, I can’t say I really enjoyed watching it.
An odd movie for sure, but worth watching. It has this charm to it. The acting is just ok, as is the writing, but you can’t help but like it.

Exactly what it should be, motorized killing fun with some nudity interspersed. A good chill watch
