Atom User Reviews for Dark Phoenix Opening Night IMAX Fan Event
Sooooo much better than Captain Marvel and Endgame!!!
makes me think of my beloved Kaytlyn Ellida O'Connor
Really had high hopes for this movie and it was quickly lowered with terrible reviews. I came in wanting this to be great. It was just ok. Nothing great about it. Predictable. Slow paced and overall just uninteresting at times. Sophie T did a good job. There’s some cool mutant power effects here and there but nothing new. Ah well. At least we had Avengers Endgame that didn’t disappoint...😒
Not the disaster you've been told. If you like the X-Men franchise, then this one is great too. However its pretty obvious that Disney scavenged ideas and set pieces from this for Captain Marvel.
Wish they would have taken the storytelling in a happier direction. Potential continuity problems with original X-Men movies.
Only two scenes with Quicksilver, wat the fuq.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRT “dark Phoenix” Sophie turners acting was amazing couldn’t have asked for a better Jean grey
Great movie to watch, the amount of action and visuals are worth watching.
Was awesome,I love X-Men’s forever !
what a let down. Although the movie was action packed, the storyline just sucked. The writers need to be fired. I can't wait for Marvel to reboot this franchise that Fox screwed up.
It’s not the best x-men movie but it was an overall an enjoyable experience
I like the film. I don’t agree with all the fuss from critics. The story is ‘darker’ tho. It’s entertaining.

The most surprising thing about the production, which was written and directed by Simon Kinberg, is how grindingly dumb it becomes after a promising start.
A film so dull, flat, and totally joyless that, in the absence of anything compelling unfolding on screen, one’s mind may be forgiven for turning to the corporate machinations grinding behind it.
For a series supposedly dedicated to the pleasure of superhero movies, Dark Phoenix somehow ends up illustrating their limits.
