Day 11 of 31🎃 I found Dark light to be average, it's a thriller with mystery and a bit of paranoia. But it lacked a lot to keep my attention🤷🏻♀️
This is a fairly decent monster/ alien flick. The vibes it had are actually pretty cool and the lead actress is really good. The monster reveal is ok, it looks a bit cheap but still ok. You could do a lot worse when it comes to movies like this, not bad at all.
There’s always room for a creature feature in 2019 with a ton of practical effects, cool costumes and scary sounds. Here we have a home invasion monster movie that follows the trend of paranoia in a lot of the movies I have seen at Frightfest this year but this time with a…

I’m always in for a wild alien abduction movie, especially when they have a practical glowing head monster. However the movie itself is hard to follow, and because of the confusion it doesn’t end up being very scary. The main character looks like she’s 15 and has a…
Had the right look for it to be sort of engaging. Mostly set amongst a farm nightly besieged by lights and creatures. But is it real? Better question - do I care? I suppose some credit for attempting a Nolan-y storytelling structure. Albeit not well. The characters are a…
