Moviegoers are saying
Daniel and the Fiery Furnace creates a stark divide between audiences, with devoted Christian viewers finding profound spiritual inspiration while critics slam its heavy reliance on AI-generated imagery, particularly an AI-created Jesus figure. The biblical adaptation starring Mena Massoud faces harsh criticism for poor sound mixing, biblical inaccuracies, and what many call '85% AI content,' yet manages to move religious audiences to tears and applause in theaters.

Ai religious slop. I was baffled by the amount of Ai in this and they didn’t even try for this one. Also I’m not quite sure if this was dubbed over or if the ADR for this was just that bad. All the dialogue lines never sounded like they were coming from the actual people…

The final nail in the coffin was AI Jesus. The book was better
salessandroySep 18, 2026One of the worst things I’ve ever seen. Most of it was AI. I’m not joking. I’m a Christian and I hated it. Do not watch.
Judah MannSep 22, 2026I'm very easy to please, so I've never had to rate a movie 1/2 star, but this was definitely the worst film I have ever had to see. 90% of the scenes are ChatGPT; the rest is just shots of sand. The sound was godawful. I tried to sleep, but it was too loud. It was genuinely…

- Mateo is "meh" onDaniel and the Fiery Furnace
Really disappointed in this. It’s such a great story, but this was not a good movie. A lot of the acting was really bad (besides Nebuchadnezzar) and the writing at some parts felt very unrealistic and odd. Not to mentioned the cheesy visuals. Got better near the end. 4/10
Setareh dislikedDaniel and the Fiery FurnaceWhere do I began… This movie was 80% ai and 20% terrible acting. I honestly cannot believe they used Ai scenes for this movie. Me and my siblings where just laughing the entire time
Iranian Lion dislikedDaniel and the Fiery FurnaceTerrible, they used AI throughout the entire movie and did not even include Daniel in the lions den.

I’m giving this movie 2 stars because my biggest issue is the twisting of Scripture. Having Daniel help design or build Nebuchadnezzar’s golden statue is not in Daniel 3 and creates a false impression of his character. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were also portrayed as…

Parts seemed Biblical, other parts took a lot of creative, fictional license.
