"Who are the real villains?" Taking the biggest question from 'Jaws' and throwing the word generic overboard. Plot twists, double entendres, surrealism, and unnerving realism. Shudder has been exceeding my expectations recently, and the casting keeps me glued. Jai, Josh, and Hassie all outdid…
7.0 - Went in prepped for another bland, repetitive & silly shark horror, even knowing there was a serial killer twist before hand - & left very pleasantly surprised & entertained. Jai Courtney is clearly having a blast & plays his role so straight forward that there’s a very unanticipated level…

Pretty solid honestly. Makes the overdone shark horror feel fresh and stressful. Some of the writing feels a bit cheesy at times and I could have done without the romance, but I think it all works together for the most part. A great opening to set the tone and great pacing throughout. A pretty…
6.9/10 This was pretty good but there are problems - the writing is bad and the ending is terrible and made no sense - There are good spots with some of the action and plot points but they doubt outweigh the negatives - also the main bad guy had no real motive which pissed me off

Excellent movie
I have never written a movie review before. However, after reading a travel article based on the shooting locale rave about the film, I felt compelled. I could not wait for this movie to end. In fact, I left a little early. (Has never happened before). It was predictable, the character development was weak (perhaps, a bit forced), and it lacked suspense.

It’s fascinating and enlivening to watch how the fusion of two intensely familiar subgenres–serial killer thriller and shark-starring B-movie–can result in a work that is somehow brimming with life and verve.
Sinister even when it’s slyly winking at its audience, it’s a satisfying meal of tasty horror cheese.
As suspense thrillers go, “Dangerous Animals” is as uncompromising as it gets. It doesn’t aspire to much, but it’s well-acted and well-written, looks great and full of surprises.
