as painful and horrific as it is beautiful and inspiring, an absolutely devastating film that i’ve been incredibly excited to watch; and it does not disappoint. transcends all musicals and tragedies to become something entirely unique and pure; bjork is truly phenomenal. perfect
It’s depressing and painful films, it’s pretty slow but good story. The scripts written really bad nonetheless it’s feels so real (Bjork style). The camera-work is poor too but the effect is melancholic and beguiling, a painful yet relevant reflection of our. Performance 💯

Great cast, brutal watch. The silence in the back half of the movie is DEAFENING and I was left with my hand over my mouth for the majority of the movie. A movie that could only be watched only a handful of times at most. Be prepared to cry. 8.4/10
One of the more unique movies out there. I’m not a huge Björk fan, but I’m a sucker for Lars von Trier flicks and this is easily in his top five. Heartbreaking and mildly disturbing. Get ready for a mind trip.
