The truest scene in this movie is when Adonis is sitting on the stoop outside the gym and a kid on a motorbike comes up to him and goes "I heard you were Apollo Creed's son" and Adonis is like "yeah," and the kid goes "that's what's up" and does a wheelie.
JoeFeb 21, 2023Was laying down on the couch watching this but you know when that final fight started I was in full dad-watching-the-super-bowl position
Sydney🚀Dec 12, 2015I don't mean to nitpick, but doesn't Rocky have a restaurant to run?

That moment where Adonis gets knocked down by Conlan and in his stupor sees Apollo Creed and then hard cut to Adonis gasping for air and immediately getting to his feet? Pure cinema.
Joe ANov 3, 2020“- Rocky Balboa: Prove what? - Adonis Johnson: That I'm not a mistake!” I can't believe how good this movie is. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE MOVIE

“How’d you beat him?” “Time beat him. Time takes everybody out. It’s undefeated.”
Bryan EspitiaNov 24, 2015If only boxing in real life was this exciting. The fights in this film are filmed to absolute perfection. They're intense, brutal, and down right raw. Floyd Mayweather should watch this movie and then maybe he'll actually learn how to fight an exciting fight. I am very…
EvanAug 23, 2019They ran out of things for Rocky to fight, so in this film his opponent is a terminal illness. Well played, writers.

9.5 - Damn, I’ve been missing out. This packs one hell of a punch and can go 12 rounds with any other Rocky movie.

Sabrina Bondi likedCreedJust when you were thinking: How long can Rocky keep fighting, this detour that introduces a new character, the illegitimate son of Apollo Creed, Adonis Creed, and brings fresh blood to stain the ring. A good transition for this boxing saga.

I liked the second one more, but this is a great introduction into the new age of Rocky movies.

Kevin lovedCreedOne of the best sports films there is. This film was just beginning on TV and I just had to watch it. Especially after the success and awards that Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan got recently. “One step at a time. One punch at a time. One round at a time.” - Rocky Balboa
Jen likedCreednot usually something i’d choose to watch, and i haven’t seen anything else from the franchise. with that said, this was a compelling movie and had great performances. it did take me a second to get into, but the fight scenes alone were impressive enough to hold out for.

This movie blew me away. As a huge fan of the Rocky franchise, I think this is the best Rocky movie since the original. I feel like I need to hit the gym and start training. For what, I don't know. Let's just do it!

Equally powerful and feel-good, Creed is an entertaining reminder that this franchise isn’t down for the count yet.

Creed wants all of the Rocky drama but invests in none of the smarts.

Rousing in spirit, surprisingly emotional and visually dynamic, filmmaker Ryan Coogler’s first studio movie, Creed, is a worthy successor to the best of the “Rocky” movies and proves the young director is the real deal.
