Atom User Reviews for Clerks III
if you are a fan of Clerks you absolutely MUST see this film. it is not only one of the best Kevin Smith movies, I dare say it may go down as being one of the best movies of all time. OSCAR WORTHY!!!
Kevin finally made me cry. Thanks 😊
Great ending to the Clerks saga
Cried as much, if not more, than I laughed. I just loved it so much. Chasing Amy is my favorite Kevin Smith flick because of the heart….this one shows even more. O’Halloran was impeccable. I’m just in awe.
Wonderful to revisit these favorite friends. A must see for Clerks fans!
Great movie . It was funny and very emotional. Great send off for the characters.
If I had woke up this morning and someone told me I was going to cry at Clerks III tonight I wouldn't have believed you. I laughed, I cried, I came...
Hit me right in the feels. Love seeing that familiar cast back in the screen. Well worth the wait!
Kevin Smith has completely outdone himself with this one. I laughed, I cried, and seeing so many familiar faces felt like I was hanging out with old friends. The storyline was fantastic with some very unexpected twists and surprises. Jeff Anderson and Brian Ohalloran put on their best performance yet and Jason Mewes nailed it once again. This is the Kevin Smith movie we’ve been waiting for! I absolutely loved it and will be seeing it again!
Kevin Smith does it again and brought everyone along with him. I laughed, I cheered and I cried. If you are a Clerks fan this is a MUST SEE. I ties everything up in a nice package! I absolutely loved it!
A masterful final installment of the Clerks franchise. I laughed, I cried, it was everything I wanted plus what I didn't know I needed.
Kevin Smith's best work to date. Maybe it was taking the franchise back to the Kwick-Stop or maybe his new found lease on life after his heart attack, but he really delivers on so many levels.
If you're a fan it's amazing...if you're not a fan I'm sorry...I hope you can find joy in life. This movie was the perfect end to what has been an amazing ride with these Clerks. You'll laugh and cry...and enjoy all the hidden nuggies and easter eggs in the movie! go see it!
excellent ending to the franchise
Perfect way to close the saga. Thank you Kevin smith.
Great way to end this story. Nice farewell for all the characters. Funny and heartfelt.
Ties together the journey from the early 90s. Pays to rewatch 1 and 2 before seeing it. Ton of call backs, but all work within the story being told.
This could be my favorite Kevin Smith movie. Can wait to see it again.
If this be the end, it was a good way to go out.
Not my favorite ending, but I can see why we had to go there. Great job all you Clerks!
Definitely a must see for anyone who is a Kevin Smith fan!
This movie made me cry both from laughter and from real depth. Every part came together to make this a true masterpiece. Chef's f****** kiss on this movie. 100/10 will watch again and would recommend to anyone and everyone. Go see this movie.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS MOVIE! Tremendous fan service and a great conclusion to the series. Can't wait till this movie comes out on Blu Ray/4K.
Seen all Kevin smiths movies, clerks 3 is strictly for the fans, a norm I’d would not understand all the side gags and script dialogue, see clerks 1 and 2 first
I didn't think Clerks could hit as emotionally hard as this one did. It's a love letter to not only the fans of the franchise but also the people that worked on it and the series itself. It's Kevin Smiths true vision of how HE sees Clerks and it's beautiful. Snootchies bootchies, indeed.
It was a great movie for Kevin Smith fans. It was HIS story. Loved all the characters from the first and second film making an appearance. It got me a little teary eyed too.
Brings it all together
Didn’t disappoint, hilarious & nostalgic! Laughed out loud!
great film.... been along for the ride since 1994 and this one was outstanding
I loved Clerks 3. It was a perfect way to end the clerks series. It was funny and emotional. The cast did a great job. This is a must see.
If you're a Kevin Smith Fan, this movie is for you. Marvelously Meta. Do yourself a favor and re-watch EVERYTHING before you see this, that way you won't miss anything.
An unexpected but complete pleasure. Hit more heart strings than I thought possible. A wonderful and fitting end to the Clerks franchise.
This movie was the best movie outta the clerks franchise i was in tears the last 20 mins of it. Every best friends out there need to see this no questions asked.
Emotional
Love the sorry, the familiar faces… definitely take “allergy” wiping material… and finish the credits for that little extra!
Kevin Smith and cast did it again!! great movie!! Trevor Fehrman is still my favorite clerk!!
Laughed hysterically the entire movie. It was everything I wanted as a fan of Clerks since the beginning.
Does the nostalgia/callback thing well, better than Clerks 2 but a distant echo from the original
Not what I expected, a lot of laughs and fitting end to the one that started it all.
I love Kevin smith’s movies…stick around for the credits
Laughed, cried, laughed some more!!! Absolutely love this chapter of the Clerks story.
Very good. Stay to the end of the credits. Very heart-felt comment by Mr. Smith.
Probably one of the best movies from Kevin Smith. It was great to see the cast again knocking it out of the park. I admit that I did shed a tear or two for my favorite Clerks.
a must for every fan of the View Askewniverse
Getting old school Kevin Smith feel here. No movie has made me laugh out loud so hard and cry too. Rewatch 1 and 2 before you go so you catch more funny parts!
What a flick! OMG! Laughed, cried and everything in-between! Loved it!!!!!!
not what I expected for a clerks movie a bit of a let down. depressing and also just filler regurgitating previous movies and really really sad to see it ended the way it was.
An emotional send off to these characters that have been around for almost 30 years. Also not what I expected.
was ok. not great, just ok. appreciate Kevin Smith's work but a little too dark this time around
Metacritic
In Clerks III, Smith returns to where his career began and has made one of his best films in decades, a tender and compassionate look at friendships that last no matter what, a remembrance of where Smith came from, and an appreciation for all those who helped him along the way.
Smith is still a long way from being a great filmmaker, but he's an earnest one. And Clerks III, flawed as it is, is his heartfelt farewell to the Quick Stop.
It’s comedically uneven and overly distracted by side-characters, but when Clerks III gets to the heart of Dante and Randal’s decades-long friendship it’s enough to assure you that Kevin Smith is still open for business.
