Dangerous Animals did this premise WAY better, and it's not even high art, as that was just an efficiently fun time. Chum is abysmal with its awful writing, incoherent editing, chummy AI slop for the effects/kills, and abysmal performances, that not even Alice Eve's eye…

Not sure why I decided to watch this soulless AI slop because I knew it would make me furious but I did anyway. I know I complain about bad CGI in modern shark films a lot of times but they’re at least trying instead of using AI scenes in place of CGI or even shark clips…
