When Paul Newman tells Elizabeth Taylor to lock the door!!!!! I SCREAM!! boy, do i scream! that man would not have to ask me twice!!
JenessaAug 21, 2019the phrase “big daddy” is said 83 times in this movie so you’d think big daddy himself would steal the show, but no!! the star of this show is paul newman’s beautiful ice blue eyes!! big daddy could never compete!!

aliceAug 22, 2014I am a huge Tennessee Williams fan, so I went into Cat on a Hot Tin Roof expecting to like it. Imagine my disappointment at finding that this filmed version of one of Williams' most famous plays was gutted like a fish by the Hays Code. What's left is a good looking,…

At first I didn't think I was going to like this, but the dialogue was really good and intense. You don't know how to feel about these characters, and then by the end, it turns it around and hits you in the feels. The performances for Brick, Maggie & Big Daddy were incredible.
9/10 Not what I expected. It was so intriguing and entertaining. I’ll be looking forward to watching it again especially because of Paul Newmans performance.

big daddy may have been horrible but he was the most honest and fair out of all of them 7.5/10
Rating: 7/10 Could have done way more with the plot but still pretty good for the 50’s.
