It still feels surreal to say I wrote this movie with Tom Stern. Not just because it’s a movie about my favorite band, that I got to write with one of my favorite directors, but because who writes a documentary? You’d be surprised at the amount of narrative work and literal…
SimonApr 26, 2025Gibby Haynes left the theater just as the movie caught up to his (alleged) musical collaboration with one Kid Rock. Only realized he had come back when he yelled “IT WAS BARBECUE SAUCE” from the back row when Paul Leary said he showed up at his place and started eating…
Nicole VenetoAug 16, 2025I think we made a helluva film!

Music Box TheatreJun 12, 2026This was a good viewing. I think even for people who don't know the band would find this interesting. All of the effects, puppets, animations really do assist the storytelling in a positive way. I really enjoyed seeing this finally!
